Bob contributed to writing, and performed in the four-part video series "Every Drop Counts", a learning partnership orchestrated by Alberta Irrigation Projects Association. Four highly engaging video episodes follow the adventures of a group of Grade Eight students who are encouraged by their teacher to discover more about water and to develop their own interest in contemporary music by entering a song-writing contest in support of the United Nations Water for Life Decade.
Bob has finished the first book ever written on the Canadian Rockies World Heritage Site, which includes Banff, Jasper, Yoho and Kootenay National Parks and Mount Robson, Hamber and Mount Assiniboine Provincial Parks in British Columbia. This book is published by Athabasca University Press and was launched in May of 2010.
The geographical area of prime interest of the Western Watersheds Climate Research Collaborative is the Rocky Mountains of Canada and the basins of rivers that have their origins in these mountains. These rivers include the North and South Saskatchewan, the Athabasca, Peace, Fraser and Columbia and the upland tributaries that are part of their basins.
